Sovereign Hill

Hello,

I had such a good time at Sovereign Hill, It was so fun buying things and doing school and doing different activities like mining tours with your friends.

When we were at sovereign hill we joined in to the  Sovereign hill school program it was fun dressing up for school. We wore 1850s clothes such as neckerchiefs, nickerbockers, shirt, jacket and old style caps.

I also learnt how to gold pan and I’m lucky I found gold but it was only worth $1.00. We went into a under ground mine we first took a cart into the mine and it was so scary because it was pitch black on the way down. When we arrived this lady took us on a tour in the mine we saw a replica of the biggest nugget in Ballarat it weighs 62 kg that cost  $3,100,000 in  Australian money.

When I went to the lolly shop firstly I had to buy raspberry drops I  bought a lollypop for my brother and Eucalyptus  drops for my mum and dad. I also bought a dipped candle and a scone shaper for my mum.

What was your favourite camp you have been on?
